Well, Day 2 did not happen…
Yes, I was going to blog daily and with great intentions, but Day 2 slipped away.
Now in the past I might have become very discouraged about messing up so quickly, but my practice of yoga, meditation and study have taught me that when you fall down, you pick yourself up, you fall down, and pick yourself up a again.
Rather than beat myself up emotionally for my lapse, I press the reset button and go on.
What is the reset button? Mindfulness, self-forgiveness, gratitude, self-love. As Thich Nat Hanh’s mindfulness meditation goes, “Calming body and mind, I smile. Being in the present moment, I know this is a beautiful moment.”
Later today I will post for Day 3 with some starting tasks to accomplish.
